The site preparation stage involves site inspection, clearing the site of vegetation and other obstacles that might hamper the construction. It also includes setting up of site fence, toilets, and power pole.
The Frame Stage is all about forming the skeleton of the multi-townhouse project. It starts with the marking and construction of the walls, along with installing steel structure, floor trusses and flooring, roof trusses, windows, and door frames.
The lock-up stage is basically ‘the locking up’ of the multi-townhouse. With guttering, roofing, laying brickwork and walls, the exterior of the project will take shape on this stage.
In the Fixing Stage, the internal details are ‘fixed’ into the dual occupancy or multi-townhouse. Plaster and insulation are installed, as well as staircases, kitchen and room cabinets, and architraves; wet areas are also waterproofed.
The Final Stage is when all the finishing touches will take place. This includes paintwork, tiling, caulking, installing benchtops, tapware, carpets, and fencing.
